Neon Slope
About Neon Slope
Neon Slope is an endless 3D rolling game: a glowing ball races down a neon track that winds through the dark, and it never stops getting faster. All you do is steer left and right, and that is exactly what makes it so hard to put down. The track narrows into thin bridges, splits into platforms with gaps between them, drops you down to lower levels and hides red blocks that end your run the moment you touch them. Yellow jump pads launch you over low walls, as long as you hit them straight. Every 1,000 metres the colours change and the speed climbs further, from a gentle roll to well over 150 km/h. One mistake and the ball tumbles into the void, but a new run starts in a split second: press Space and you are rolling again. Every course is generated fresh, and every one of them can be finished: our tests drive a computer player down thousands of metres of track to make sure there is always a way through. Chase your best distance, climb the leaderboard and see how far you can roll. Neon Slope plays free in your browser with the arrow keys or by touching the left and right sides of the screen.
How to play
Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D; on a phone, hold the left or right half of the screen. The ball speeds up on its own. Stay on the track, avoid the red blocks and roll over yellow pads to jump. Press Space or Enter after a fall to try again straight away.
Questions
Does the track ever end?īŧ
No. It goes on forever and keeps getting faster. Your score is how many metres you roll.
Is every course possible?īŧ
Yes. Each course is built around a path the ball can always follow at its speed, and our tests send a computer player thousands of metres down it.
Can I continue after a fall?īŧ
Once per run, by watching a short ad. You go back to a safe spot a little before where you fell.
