Snake is the arcade classic that fits in a pocket: steer a hungry snake around the board, eat the fruit, and grow longer with every bite, without crashing into a wall or into your own tail. It keeps the simple rules that made Snake a favourite on early mobile phones and adds a modern finish: a smooth, glowing snake that glides between cells instead of jumping, juicy particle effects, a steady speed-up as you eat, and golden bonus stars worth five times a normal fruit that appear every few bites and fade away if you are too slow. Choose Walls mode for the traditional challenge where the edge of the board ends your run, or No walls mode where the snake slips out of one side and reappears on the other, which changes how you plan every turn. On a phone you can swipe anywhere on the board or use the large on-screen arrow pad; on a computer the arrow keys or W, A, S and D steer and the space bar pauses. How to play
Swipe on the board, tap the arrow pad, or use the arrow keys or W, A, S, D to change direction. The snake keeps moving on its own. Eat the red fruit to score 10 points and grow by one segment; golden stars are worth 50 points but disappear after a few seconds. In Walls mode hitting the edge ends the game; in No walls mode you come out on the opposite side. Running into your own body always ends the game. Press Space or the pause button to pause. After a crash you can continue once by watching a short ad, which rewinds the snake a few steps.
