About Water Sort
Water Sort is a calm colour-sorting puzzle, inspired by one of the most popular puzzle games of recent years. Glass tubes are filled with layers of brightly coloured water all mixed up together, and your job is to pour them from tube to tube until every tube holds just one colour. The rule is simple: you can only pour water onto the same colour or into an empty tube, and only as much as fits. Tap a tube to pick it up, tap another to pour, and watch the tube tilt, the water stream across and the layers settle into place. A finished tube gets a cork and a little sparkle. Levels start gently with just three colours and grow to twelve colours and fourteen tubes, so there is always a fresh challenge, and every level is checked by the game's built-in solver before you see it, so it can always be finished. There is no timer and no pressure, just a relaxing brain teaser you can play at your own pace. Made a wrong move? Undo it, as many times as you like, or restart the level. Stuck? Ask for a hint and the game will show you a good next pour, and if a level is really tight you can add an extra empty tube once per level by watching a short ad. Water Sort works in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, saves your progress automatically and is completely free to play.
How to play
Tap a tube to lift it, then tap another tube to pour. Water can only be poured onto the same colour or into an empty tube, and only while there is room. The whole block of the top colour pours at once, as much as fits. Sort the water so every tube holds a single colour (or is empty) to finish the level. Use Undo (or press Z) to take back moves, the light bulb for a hint, and + Tube for an extra empty tube. Keyboard: number keys 1 to 9 select tubes.

Yes. Every level is checked by a solver before it is shown, so there is always a way to sort it.
How many colours are there?īŧ
The first level has three colours. New colours are added as you progress, up to twelve.
Is there a move limit or a timer?īŧ
No. Take as long as you like and undo as many moves as you want.
What does + Tube do?īŧ
It adds an extra empty tube to the current level, which makes tricky positions much easier. You can use it once per level.
Is my progress saved?īŧ
Yes. Your level and an unfinished puzzle are saved automatically.
