About Wobble Boxers

Wobble Boxers is a one-button boxing game where nobody can quite stand up straight. Two tipsy boxers sway back and forth on wobbly legs, and all you control is a single button: press it to throw a punch and lunge forward. The trick is timing. Punch while your boxer is leaning in and the other one is close, and your glove lands on their chin and sends them reeling; punch while you are swaying back and you hit nothing but air, and if you mash the button, your boxer stumbles forward and might tip over all on his own. Whoever falls over first loses the round, and the first to win three rounds takes the fight. Work your way through eight opponents, from Wobbly Walt and Hiccup Hank to Iron Ivan, Big Bertha and finally The Champ, across five places: a boxing ring under the spotlights, a back alley, a frozen lake where your feet slide, a rolling ship deck that leans one way and then the other, and a moon base with low gravity. Or play two players on one device, each with one key or one half of the screen. Rounds last seconds, the laughs last longer. Wobble Boxers plays free in your browser.

How to play

Press Space, click or tap to punch and lunge forward. Your boxer sways by himself: punch when you are leaning towards the other boxer and they are close. Knock them over to win the round; win three rounds to win the fight. In two-player mode, Player 1 uses W or the left half of the screen, Player 2 the up arrow or the right half.

Questions

Why did my boxer fall over on his own?īŧ‹

Each punch lunges you forward, and pressing again before the punch is ready makes you stumble. Time your punches instead of mashing.

Can I play with a friend?īŧ‹

Yes. Choose 2 Players. Each player has one button: W and the up arrow on a keyboard, or the left and right halves of a touch screen. First to five rounds wins.

Is every opponent beatable?īŧ‹

Yes. Our tests pit a computer boxer with average reactions against every opponent, and it wins most of its fights against all eight.
